Full description:  Want to build yourself a professional-looking web site, but don’t know where to start?  Want to add personal touches to your existing site, but don’t know HTML?  Need help editing photos of your work for submission into shows?  Want to make sure your brand carries through on your business cards and other print media?  Wish you had access to an experienced graphic designer and photo/video editor for FREE?  This workshop series is for you!  Join designer Andrew Kinnear for one, or all four evenings of this informal workshop series for personalized guidance on your projects.  Come with your own laptop and a project in mind.  Some possible topics include learning to use Photoshop, intro to graphic design, beginners’ Wordpress websites, intro to HTML/CSS coding, motion graphics with After Effects, and video editing with iMovie. Space is available on a first-come, first served basis, and though this workshop is tuition-free, you must call ahead to register.

Instructor bio:  Andrew Kinnear has been doing digital creative work for about 12 years and enjoys his work very much. Before becoming a freelancer, he did agency work for groups like the Smithsonian, IBM, Google, and National Geographic. He specializes in graphic design, websites, and motion graphics videos. For fun, Andrew likes doing anything outside and playing guitar (if you play an instrument let him know!). Andrew is new to the Big Island and wanted to share his love for his creative work with other artists through these classes to help others and meet cool people along the way.
