CERAMIC OPEN STUDIO - OCTOBER SCHEDULE

Title: Ceramic Open Studio

OCTOBER SCHEDULE: Tuesdays from 10:00am - 1:30pm and 1:30pm - 5:00pmWednesdays - Saturdays from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. (Saturday, October 16: 10a - 2p & 2p - 6p)

Studio Pass: $7.50 for half day

Clay: $50 per bag, Recycled Clay $30 (includes glaze and firing)

Description: Ceramic Open Studio Participants only. As we all remain diligent in our responses to the current pandemic, all of the Mill's studios are operating at 50% capacity so that we can maintain a safe environment and ensure social distancing guidelines and other safety protocols are followed. In an effort to maintain studio accessibility to all of our members, our revised policy starting February 1, 2021 is as follows: up to eight participants are allowed in the studio to help limit the spread of COVID-19. In order to participate, you must register in advance.

How to use Ceramics Open Studio (UPDATED JANUARY 20, 2021):

In order to participate in the Ceramic Open Studio:

  • Your membership must be current
  • You must be independent and know the studio policies: Link to Ceramic Open Studio Policies 
  • You must have taken a six to ten week class within the last two years (e.g. Into to the Wheel, All Levels, Intermediate Ceramics)
  • NOTE: Advanced level and or professionals may use the open studio after an orientation with the Ceramic Studio Coordinator

Reserve your studio session online:

  1. Log-in to your Donkey Mill account. Your membership must be current in order to complete the registration. 
  2. If you have passes already, please email info@donkeymillartcenter.org with your desired day and we will reserve it for you. We will verify that you have taken a class and your membership is current at this time. The phone is not checked as often as the email is, so please email us. 
  • We are allowing 8 open studio participants in the studio per session. You can come and go during your session.
  • We encourage you to bring your own tools as community tools aren't always available. More info here.
  • Once you have a confirmed open studio session, please check-in and check-out at the Front Desk.

Follow all Donkey Mill COVID-prevention policies below:

  • Wear CDC recommended face coverings to enter or work in studios
  • Avoid entering if you have a cough, fever or otherwise do not feel well
  • Maintain a six-foot distance from one another
  • Do not shake hands or engage in unnecessary physical contact
  • No potluck lunches, coffee or gatherings in the kitchen. Brown bag lunch only
  • Students are required to use the sanitization supplies provided to clean their work areas after use
