Wood Resist / Faux Batik Workshop with Cris Lindborg

Applying the techniques of using wax resist of a traditional batik method on fabric, the class will work on using gum resist on wood and “dying” the colors with acrylic paints, building layers of patterns and colors.
 
The Mill will provided: 1 wood piece per student (12”x12”), Acrylic paints and brushes, Gum Resist (1 per student)
 
Students Bring: Students bring a design idea, apron and drink/snacks
